What does Happy Moon's mean?

"Happy Moon's" is an English brand name; translated word for word it means "happy moon". In Turkey the name is also commonly written and searched as "happy moons" or "happymoons"; all three describe the same brand.

The brand is positioned in Happy Group's everyday restaurant concept: a broad menu, an accessible price band and generous portions. You can read about its positioning on the Happy Moon's brand page.

Happy Group's five brands

  • Happy Moon's — the everyday restaurant; spread breakfast, burgers, pastas, pizzas, salads, desserts. The group's widest branch network.
  • Ikon — a fine dining kitchen with a cocktail bar concept, for a planned dinner and special occasions.
  • The One — along brasserie lines, with a more curated menu.
  • Little Buddha — Far Eastern cuisine; sushi and noodle categories.
  • Mashattan — a modern café concept (formerly Manhattan).

Being inside the same group does not mean the menus are the same: each brand has its own culinary identity and its own menu. When you scan the QR code at a branch, you see the menu of the brand you are in.

Most frequently asked questions

Does Happy Moon's serve alcohol?

The Happy Moon's menu includes alcoholic drink categories such as beer, wine and cocktails. However, alcohol service is not the same at every branch; it depends on that branch's licence status. For a specific branch, the clearest answer comes from the phone number on the branches page. There is also a wide choice on the non-alcoholic side: coffees, lemonade and non-alcoholic cocktail options are on the menu.

What are the breakfast hours?

Breakfast service hours differ from branch to branch. The reason is location: a branch inside a shopping centre runs to the mall's opening time, while a street-level or marina branch works to a different calendar. Use your branch's phone number for exact information.

How many people is a spread breakfast for?

A spread breakfast is set according to guest numbers and served for tables of two or more. For one person, the menu carries plated and à la carte breakfast options.

Where can I see menu prices?

Current prices are on the QR menu at the branch; just point your phone camera at the QR code on your table. To see the product and category list before a visit, use the menu page. Third-party price lists circulating online are usually not updated and do not distinguish between branches, so they may carry outdated data.

Can I make a reservation?

Calling the branch ahead is recommended for large tables and special-occasion requests. During weekend breakfast hours in particular, this noticeably shortens the wait for tables of more than four.

Is there a children's menu?

There is no separate children's menu category; the pasta, pizza and chicken items children often choose sit within the main categories. For the current menu, see the menu page.

Which branches have indoor seating?

Branches inside shopping centres are indoors and air-conditioned; marina and street-level branches may offer largely open-air seating. In autumn and winter, mall branches are more comfortable because they work regardless of the weather.

Are there branches outside Turkey?

Yes, Happy Moon's also has branches outside Turkey. For the current list, see the branches page.

Choosing the right branch: three questions

  1. Which brand do you want? Happy Moon's for spread breakfast and a broad menu; Little Buddha for sushi; Ikon or The One for a planned dinner; Mashattan for coffee and light dishes.
  2. Open air or indoors? Marina branches for a view; mall branches for weather independence and parking.
  3. What time are you going? If you are planning an early breakfast, remember that mall branches follow the centre's opening; call the branch to confirm.

Summary

Happy Moon's is the everyday restaurant brand with the widest network among Happy Group's five brands, operating in more than 20 provinces across Turkey. Alcohol service depends on a branch's licence status and breakfast hours on its location — for both, the clearest answer comes from the branch phone number. Current prices are on the QR menu at the branch, and the full branch list is on the branches page.
